Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) : standing still, a nest, etc
One flew (right) and perched near a Purple Heron (left)

Visitors weren't the quietest but the herons had no damns to give us humans anyway.
In comparison, modern human feet are definitely not evolved for walking in water...
Was it protecting its nest from something? The nest was on a large Pterocarpus indicus.
Definitely went a bit much over documenting the many Grey Herons at BAMKP. And additional highlight was seeing a broken stream of poop rain down from one that was in flight. "fertilizer" from the skyyy
