Blue-throated Bee-eater (Merops viridis) on Adenanthera pavonina
Ah now that I know how it catches insects (swooping down and catching in flight), it makes sense why it chose this spot on the Adenanthera pavonina that was overlooking an open air space above Eco-Lake. It came back to the same perch several times. Saw it rubbing its beak on the branch (disarming prey?) and now I wonder if it had a prey in its beak which I couldn't see :')
