Avicennia alba

Avicennia alba
Acanthaceae
Lamiales

Read that Avicennia spp. exhibit cryptovivipary whereby the seed germinates inside the fruit, breaking the seed coat but remains inside until the fruit wall splits open after. Trying to brain that... means that in a sense, when the fruit wall does open, an already germinated seed is "revealed instantaneously"?
