male Common Five Ring? (Ypthima baldus)
Identification high likely incorrect cause there are several other species with similar rings @.@ and this one has a broken wing :') but if it is right, its eggs look quite pretty - translucent light blue with tessellated surface - and its caterpillars feed on Axonopus compressus (Cow Grass) which is found pretty much everywhere. More chances to spot them I guess
