Greater Racket-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus paradiseus) nest
Approached some bird photographers last Saturday (13 May) and found that there is a nest up on a Ficus. A photographer mentioned that the one in the nest is waiting for its mate. tbh it looks super exposed and the bird's mouth was open, I wonder if it's related to the heat and exposed location of the nest.
Found that Greater Racket-tailed Drongos are monogamous and that they share nesting duties (constructing of nest, incubation, feeding of young). Also males and females supposedly look the similar and cannot be differentiated in the field
